Surgical steel D-rings are a great alternative to ball closure rings. They have a straight edge that feels more comfortable than a BCR in certain piercings.
D-rings are ideal for piercings in which you usually wear a straight barbell, such as nipple piercings, lip piercings and septum piercings. They also stick out less, giving you a more compact look and feel.
Our D-rings are particularly popular for navel piercings. Because they stick out less, a D-ring is less likely to get caught on clothing etc or knocked during healing. Many people find them more comfortable but we recommend consulting your piercer if you are concerned about a specific piercing.
