Rook

Rook piercings are a type of ear cartilage piercing located in the highest fold of ear cartilage, between the daith and the ear-rim. Whether you can have a rook piercing and what jewellery you wear depends on your ear anatomy – always make sure there is room to accommodate the jewellery you want to wear. WHAT IS A ROOK PIERCING?

The Rook is a creative piercing that sits near the inner ridge of the ear cartilage, just below the Helix piercing. This distinctive piercing is a real stand out for 2021. The Rook piercing goes through a thick layer of cartilage, which is usually more painful than the Helix piercings and takes a little more time to heal possibly up to 6 months. Our most popular choice of jewellery for the Rook is the ball closure ring, although short barbells and circular barbells also look outstanding, again we recommend cleaning the piercing twice a day using a sterile saline solution.
